LONDON EXHIBITIONS: Urs Fischer: Melodrama / Zak Ové: Speaker / Peter Lanyon: The Mural Studies
Oversized plaster raindrops of various colours hang from the ceiling in conversation with floor-based figurative clay sculptures. A single clay sculpture is repeated throughout the gallery, teasing out a dualism between originals and copies. The result is an installation that is both pointedly familiar yet otherworldly.

The Mural Studies focuses on a little known aspect of Lanyon's work - the mural commissions. The exhibition includes the final large scale gouache sketches for the Liverpool and Birmingham murals, as well as other studies and work derived from Lanyon's exploration of the medium.
