Huéspedes del Presente (Current Guests) showcases the work of young artists who trained at various Latin American photography schools. Focusing on a wide range of themes, the five-part exhibition currently features works by a select group of young men and women from Guatemala City's La Fototeca.

Galería Helga de Alvear presents new and recent works by Thomas Locher (b. Munderkingen, Germany, 1956). Absent Things explores the relationship between language and the economy as well as the influence these exert on the individual.

The legend of Antigone represents conflicts between men and women, the individual and society as well confrontations between citizens and the state. Elena Sims (b. Madrid, Spain, 1940) explores Sophocles's tragedy to reflect upon the theme of intransigence. Antigone at Galería Juana de Aizpuru serves as a call to dialogue and respect in these troubled times.
